The sixth day of Durga Puja, Shashthi, marks the arrival of Goddess Durga on Earth, celebrated with the unveiling of beautifully adorned idols, rituals, and prayers. This day begins the main festivities, filled with excitement, devotion, cultural programs, traditional music, and dance.

Your journey starts with a pick-up from the airport or station and a smooth check-in at the hotel. Enjoy an authentic Bengali breakfast, visit the Kalighat Kali Temple, and have lunch at the hotel. Spend the evening pandal hopping and conclude with a delightful dinner at the hotel.

The tenth day of Durga Puja, Dashami or Vijaya Dashami, marks the farewell to Goddess Durga as she returns to her celestial abode. Devotees bid farewell through rituals like Sindoor Khela, where married women smear each other with vermilion, symbolizing blessings for marital harmony. The day is filled with cultural programs, vibrant processions, and the poignant immersion of Durga idols in rivers or water bodies, signifying her return to Mount Kailash.
