Spice Route Expeditions – Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking with Spice Route Expeditions (“we”, “us”, or “our”), you (“customer”, “traveler”, or “client”) acknowledge having read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. Booking on behalf of others represents agreement for all travelers included.

2. Booking and Payment

• Reservations are confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit or full payment.
• Full payment is due before the trip, by the specified deadline.
• Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation and forfeiture of any deposit.
• Special payment conditions may apply for holidays, peak seasons, or certain tours.
• Payments can be made via approved payment methods.

3. Confirmation and Documentation

• A confirmation email is sent upon booking with relevant traveler forms.
• Accurate, current, and complete information is required from all travelers.

4. Amendments and Changes

• Changes (itinerary, traveler names, dates) must be in writing and may incur administrative fees.
• Not all changes can be accommodated, especially those close to departure.

5. Cancellations by the Client

• Cancellations must be in writing.
• Cancellation charges apply (see Refunds Policy).

6. Cancellations by the Company

• We may cancel due to insufficient bookings, safety, force majeure, or other circumstances.
• An alternative or full refund (minus non-recoverable costs) will be offered.

7. Responsibilities and Liability

• We act as agents for independent suppliers and are not responsible for their acts or omissions.
• We are not liable for injury, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity arising from services provided by third parties or events beyond our control.

8. Traveler Obligations

• Clients are responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas, health certificates, and meeting medical requirements.
• Local laws and travel safety guidelines must be followed.

9. Health and Safety

• Disclose any medical conditions or disabilities at booking.
• Participation may be refused if health, safety, or enjoyment may be compromised.

10. Special Requests

All special requests should be made at booking; fulfillment is not guaranteed.

11. Intellectual Property

All content (website, itineraries, materials) is property of Spice Route Expeditions. Reproduction or distribution for commercial purposes is prohibited.

12. Complaints

Report complaints during the trip if possible. For unresolved issues, submit in writing within 14 days of return.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction of Spice Route Expeditions’ registration.
